The 14th lecture by The Vanavarayar
Foundation is about ancient Tamil
inscriptions in Kongu Nadu.
The speaker is Prof S. Rajavelu, HOD, Underwater
Archaeology, Tamil University, Thanjavur.
He has also served as an epigraphist, has explored several inscriptions
and historical monuments and has written eight books. The talk will focus on the historical
background of the inscriptions and the need to preserve them.
