University, will conduct the University Grants Commission’s National
Eligibility Test (NET) for eligibility for lectureship and junior research
fellowship, here on June 30.
The test will begin at 9.30 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. It will be
held across seven centres in Coimbatore. A total of 8,442 candidates have
registered under 48 subjects. There are 78 physically challenged and 27
visually challenged candidates. Arrangements for scribes have been made at all
the centres.
Visually challenged candidates can contact the superintendents /
principals of the respective test centres for request of scribes.
Those who have registered online and not submitted their hard
copies will also be permitted to appear for the examination, provided they
bring two copies of their application, attendance sheet and a photo ID card
issued by any authority.
