Natya Niketan (BNN) run by dancer Karuna Sagari launches a vocational training
centre in Vidya Vanam, Anaikatti, to take Bharatanatyam to the villages.
BNN will
shortly use live video conferencing technology to teach dance. These are being
launched on the occasion of BNN turning five. During the celebrations to be
held at Purandaradasar Hall, R.S. Puram, on June 16, at 6 p.m., tribal children
from Vidya Vanam will perform the ‘Myth of Cauvery’. The programme will be telecast
live on the web at www.divinedancing.in
