The Hindu Business Line will organise an SME CEO Knowledge forum in Coimbatore.
It will be a gathering of thought leaders who will speak on issues that will benefit the growth of the small and medium-size enterprise (SME) sector.
The forum will also provide an opportunity for SMEs to interact with experts on issues like investment, enterprise solutions, credit rating and finance.
This is the first such forum to be held in Coimbatore, and will be followed by 19 such programmes.
Business Line will provide an overview of the economy and its impact on businesses. Other event partners will speak on better cash management, importance of ratings and various avenues of funding.
Officials from UTI Mutual Fund will highlight the investment opportunities in asset classes. Its officials will also speak on cash management while an official from Crisil will speak on the importance of credit ratings. A Vodafone official will speak on technology that will help SME businesses.
N.K. Maini, Deputy Managing Director, SIDBI, will be present.
Some of the speakers at the event include R. Ramchandran, President, CODISSIA; Bhareth L Ghia, Country Head, SME and Distribution Channel, UTI MF; Parthiban Sivanesan, Vodafone Business Services, Solutions Head; and Yogesh Dixit, Senior Director, Crisil.
