Screening camp for congenital heart defects

World Vision India and Apollo Children’s Hospital will be conducting a screening camp for heart diseases for children in the age group of 0 to 16 years.

A 10-member team led by Neville Solomon, paediatric cardiac surgeon, and C.S. Muthukumaran, senior interventional paediatric cardiologist, will conduct the camp.

During the camp parents would also be counselled to spot heart ailments early and provide proper treatment.

In acute cases, surgeries would be performed free of cost under the Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme.

Time: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Venue: C.S.I. Girls Higher Secondary School, Avanashi Road, Coimbatore.
