To
commemorate World Wildlife Week, various competitions are being organised by
World wide Fund for Nature — India (WWF), Nature Conservation Society (NCS) and
Rotary Club of Mettupalayam in association with St. Michael’s Higher Secondary
School — Coimbatore on October 5.
Competitions such as drawing, elocution, fancy dress (theme is
wildlife), essay writing competitions are being organised in five categories
i.e., for students LKG to first standard, second to fifth standard, sixth to
eighth standard, ninth to 12th standard and college students for
creating awareness wildlife and nature conservation.
Interested students and schools could register their names with
the organisers on or before October 4, 2013 5 p.m. through the e-mail
