To mark the International Women’s day on March 8, The Hindu is planning a series of activities. 

They will begin with a panel discussion comprising women who have carved a niche for themselves in their respective spheres of activities. It will be held at GRG PSGR Krishnammal College on Avanashi Road at 9.45 a.m.

E.S. Uma, Coimbatore Rural District Superintendent of Police; Dr. Mirudhubashini Govindarajan, Clinical Director, Womens Centre; Sreejaya, lawyer, Hemalatha Seshadri, educationist; and Jayanthashri Balakrishnan, professor, will attend.

This is open to the general public.
