Ready to run?
Participants
of the 5k run of the Vodafone Coimbatore marathon can collect their bibs and
race kits, either in person or through a friend or family member with their
registration, e-mail confirmation and an authorisation letter on October 4 at
Whispering Stone s , Perks Arch Road at Rajiv Gandhi
Nagar between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Participants
in the 10k and half marathon categories can collect their bibs and race kits at
the pre-marathon expo on October 5 at the Brookefields Mall at Krishnaswamy
Road between 9 a.m. and 5.30 p.m . A timing chip will be attached to the
back of the bib for participants in these two categories. Participants will
have to go to the timing chip verification desk to verify their registration
and timing chip. No new registrations will be entertained at the pre-marathon
expo or at Nehru Stadium on race day.
Participants
will have to arrive 30 to 45 minutes prior to the start of the marathon, as
they will have to park at a distance and walk to the starting arch. Wearing the
race bib is a must. Parents , who would like to wait for their children to
complete the marathon, can go to the “Meet and Greet” area of Nehru Stadium.
