National consultation on HIV/AIDS 

Native Medicare Charitable Trust will organise a National Consultation on HIV / AIDS to submit recommendations to the Government on issues of care and support for those living with HIV / AIDS.

Rahman Khan, Union Minister for Minority Affairs, Stefan Weckbach, Consul General, German Consulate, Chennai, and Rajendra Ratnoo, Project Director, TANSACS, will be present during the inauguration.

Indira Jaising, Additional Solicitor General, and Anand Grover, Director, Lawyers Collective, and United Nations representative, will be the guests of honour for the valediction.

The main issues that will be dealt with include, stigma, discrimination and challenges associated with those living with HIV /AIDS, and enabling them lead a dignified life in society.

The forum will also share best practices adopted in care and support programmes in India and strengthening HIV testing, counselling, care, support and treatment services.
