Konangal Film Society, along with Contemplate Art Gallery, holds a documentary on art, 'Private Life of a Master Piece', about Johannes Vermeer , Dutch Baroque painter and his work "The Art of Painting".

Acknowledged as one of the greatest painters of the Dutch Golden Age, Vermeer specialised in domestic scenes of ordinary life. Bright colours defined his paintings.
