‘Durga’, to empower girls

Park Institutions launched ‘Durga’. Its  an empowerment programme for girls to commemorate International Day of the Girl Child. It was to equip girls and women with the necessary skills to overcome fear and reduce suicide.

Stage I - The fear factor would be determined through a series of tests.

Stage II - Depending on the level of fear, defence techniques would be taught.

Stage III - A guidance session on vigilance will be provided to the participants by representatives from the uniformed services.

It aims to train 1,000 girls from Park Group of Institutions.  

It will be extended to girls of Corporation schools in Phase II.
