Talk on Jainism



Vanavarayar Foundation holds a talk on Jainism in Kongu Nadu, delivered by Pulavar S. Raju. 

The lecture will address the doctrines of Jainism and its popularity in Kongu region. Pulavar S. Raju is an epigraphist.  He has discovered more than 100 inscriptions and has authored many research articles and nearly 100 books.

Tamil Inscriptions in Kongu Nadu



The 14th lecture by The Vanavarayar Foundation  is about ancient Tamil inscriptions in Kongu Nadu.

The speaker is Prof S. Rajavelu, HOD, Underwater Archaeology, Tamil University, Thanjavur.  He has also served as an epigraphist, has explored several inscriptions and historical monuments and has written eight books.  The talk will focus on the historical background of the inscriptions and the need to preserve them.
