தமிழ்த்தாய் விருதுக்கு அழைப்பு
தமிழ் வளர்ச்சித்துறை ஆண்டுதோறும், திருவள்ளுவர், பாரதியார், பாரதிதாசன், திரு.வி.க., கபிலர், உ.வே.ச., உமறுப்
புலவர், ஜி.யு.போப் பெயரில் தமிழறிஞர்களுக்கு விருதுகளை வழங்கி
கவுரவித்து வருகிறது.
இவ்விருதுக்கு ஒரு லட்ச ரூபாய் ரொக்கம் வழங்கப்படுகிறது.
ஆண்டுதோறும் சிறந்த தமிழ் அமைப்பு ஒன்றை தேர்வு செய்து தமிழ்த்தாய் விருதையும்
வழங்குகிறது. தமிழகம் மற்றும் பிற மாநிலங்களில் வாழும் தமிழர்கள், தமிழர் பண்பாடு, நாகரிகம், கலை இலக்கியம்
ஆகியவற்றை பாதுகாக்கும் வகையில் செயல்படும் சிறந்த தமிழ் அமைப்புக்கு இவ்விருது
வழங்கப்படுகிறது.
இதற்கு ஐந்து லட்ச ரூபாயும் அதற்கேற்ற தகுதியுரையும்
வழங்கப்படுகிறது. விருதுக்கு தகுதியுடையவர்கள், சுயவிபரக்
குறிப்பை , உதவி இயக்குனர், தமிழ்வளர்ச்சித் துறை, கலெக்டர் அலுவலக வளாகம், கோவை- 18 என்ற முகவரிக்கு
அனுப்பி வைக்கலாம்.

World Food Poster contest
A district-level poster contest for schoolchildren was held on September 1 as a prelude to the national symposium ‘Food Xplore ‘13’, to be held on September 20 and 21.
More than
150 students participated in the contest, jointly organised by the university
and Rotaract Club of Saibaba Colony to create awareness among school students
on healthy lifestyle to ensure better living.
The contest
was conducted under three categories. The winners would be announced during the
symposium. The posters would be nominated by the university for the World Food
Poster Contest, organised by the Food and Agricultural Organisation of the
United Nations Organisation.
The
national symposium is organised by students of Food Process Engineering course
of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University.
