The popular overseas education event from The Hindu Group of Publications will serve as a platform to provide complete solutions for students aspiring to study abroad, to bring together education providers and students under one roof to interact.

Participants:

Universities from countries such as Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Holland, Dubai, Germany, New Zealand, Malaysia, Australia, Italy, Latvia and other European countries.

They will show a variety of courses to suit every student’s need.

The seminar schedule will begin from 10.30 and go on till 4.45 and will include education in Canada, the U.S., Holland, Australia and Latvia.

Entry is free for all and parents are permitted.

Free Video Film Making Training

The Electronics and Media Technology Department of Karunya University organises “Free Video Film Making training” for rural youth.

The training includes:

 1.  Handling of Video Cameras.

 2. Outdoor and Indoor Shooting practices.

 3. Editing audio and video clips for producing short films.

 4. Documentaries.

 5. Advertisements.

 6. Social event coverage

 7. Electronic news gathering.

Eligible to join:

Men and women in the age group of 18 and 30 years and who have passed Standard VIII.

The training will be in Tamil.

Candidates will have to produce a certificate from the Village Panchayat President or the School Headmaster to prove that he / she belongs to a rural area.

Date: May 8 to 15, 2013.

Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
