Passport Adalat

The Regional Passport Office here will conduct a Passport Adalat on August 7.

S. Sasikumar, Regional Passport Officer, said that all passport applicants whose applications were pending with the passport office should submit the details in a letter to the following address: Passport Officer, Passport Office, First Floor, Corporation Commercial Complex, Avinashi Road, Coimbatore – 641 018. The letter must reach the passport office before August 5. The envelope should be super-scribed ‘Passport Adalat.’ The details required were: passport application file number, date of application, name in full, father’s name, date of birth, present address and telephone number and a brief summary of the grievance. Passport applicants residing in Coimbatore, Erode, Tirupur, the Nilgiris, Namakkal and Salem districts could attend the adalat. Only those who had applied for passport before June 30 could apply. The applicants must bring all documents, both original and photocopies. The adalat would entertain enquiries only from applicants. Closed files would not be re-opened and they would have to apply afresh.

The passport adalat will be held between 10 a.m. and 12.30 p.m.
